During last year's AZA conference, the Philadelphia Zoo distributed Pet Shopping decision cards. Very similar to the MBay Seafood cards, it lists 3 levels of pets, the good decisions, the tolerable, and the bad choices. Naturally, can't find mine at the moment. Maybe its under a cat.

For those of you that discuss with visitors (or staff) making choices with
your purchases to fight climate change, eat more healthfully, etc., such as
those that use Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Selector, there are a couple
of others to be aware of:

Climate Counts - http://www.climatecounts.org/
<http://www.climatecounts.org/>  - for general large-companies that are
making (or not) corporate changes (Nike, McDonald's, ConAgra, etc.)

Environmental Working Group's guide to pesticides in produce:

<http://www.foodnews.org/walletguide.php>

And the seafood guides: http://www.mbayaq.org/cr/SeafoodWatch.asp
<http://www.mbayaq.org/cr/SeafoodWatch.asp>  (has regional versions)
