ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

My volunteers are teenagers, and they use a computer kiosk where they type
in the number on their badge when the arrive and leave for the day--I have
a backup log book there in case the kiosk is not working. A lot of them
end up getting frustrated with the kiosk (or the line of volunteers at the
kiosk) and end up using the log book exclusively, which is fine. I just
end up having to remind them that if they do not log their hours in one of
the devices, they do not get the credit for working (as teens, they get a
letter at the end of the summer stating how many hours they volunteered).
I hope this helps you.
