We are actually seeing the opposite trend. In the last three years we
have hosted several pre-prom group visits, had many more small groups
(four or five teens) turn up at weekends and for special events. We see
more teens coming in for daytime dates.

I suspect several factors. A big one is our teen volunteer program -
teens see teens in the building and don't feel as out of place. We also
changed are admission categories making everyone under 18 pay the Youth
rate rather than at 12. Our recent exhibit had forensic related events
and that also attracted teens.

I'm preferably looking for individual visitor data - whether teenagers
choose to visit independently or with a family/friend group as opposed
to being "forced" to come with a school group.

Thanks!

As individual visitors or as part of school groups?
