Thinking about hosting your own a Science Festival, but you want to learn more before you start planning your own? Join us on September 21-28 on ASTC Connect for an international discussion forum on the unique strengths and pitfalls of the festival format, and envision what is next for this rapidly growing field.
ASTC Connect Forums are an asynchronous discussion delivered to your email over five days. There is no specific time requirements - you decide how much time you can devote to the conversation. You can even receive the messages in a digest format.
Highlights of the forum will include:
* Conversations led by over a dozen professionals associated with both ASTC and science festivals in North America and Europe.
* Real-time reflections from the inaugural North Carolina Science Festival, produced by the Moorehead Planetarium.
* Forum conversations will form the basis for a new science festival resource center available soon on sciencefestivals.org.
Whether you are considering starting a new festival, already participating in a local effort, or just want to stay in the loop, be sure to sign up now. Tuesday, September 21 - Tuesday September 28 on ASTC Connect http://connect.astc.org/login/index.php
Required: Sign up in advance by emailing your name to Wendy Hancock: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
