Hello everyone:
Off the list I have had a few people ask about the website that I noted
on the list earlier. Although I cannot reveal the specific website associated
with those statistics, you will find excellent science resources at the
general pbs.org website. At www.pbs.org, on the right side, in the blue, you will
see <PBS Teacher Source.> Click on that and then you will see subjects on the
left. The general PBS site lists all the topics and lesson plans from all PBS
programming. For example, choosing <science> <middle school> <water and air>
generates 70 activities from 18 different shows - most of them NSF funded and
evaluated for appeal and clarity.
