Here's another question:  Since the survey was primarily distributed by
email (and probably received by email), doesn't it skew towards those who
are technologically comfortable?  Thus, wouldn't you essentially be
surveying those teachers who are more likely to use the web -particularly
because they used it to respond to the survey?  I would think this is
valuable, but it would be akin to asking members of your science center
what the science center should be doing - helpful in tailoring your efforts
to increase the satisfaction of those more likely to use the science
center, but not so helpful in figuring out ways of increasing membership.

Still, I too am looking forward to seeing the results, as it should answer
some questions regarding utility by those most likely to utilize.

Hi, Bill:

I can't answer that question.  I hope that others do similar research,
and then we will have a better sense of whether our sample is
significantly different from other samples.  How do you think NYC
teachers are "quite different?"  Believe me, I'm not being a NYC
chauvinist, but I am curious about the basis for your assumption.
