I have always thought this could revolutionize signage in the industry - if
you could do a sign with hypertext links that allowed you to explore an area
further. With that being said we haven't done them as a matter of course.
We do have a handful of electronic signs in our aquaria area, but we haven't
utilized them to the fullest capacity - sure you can look up different
creatures, but you can' explore the topic of scales per-se.
On the other hand for traveling exhibits I really appreciate it when I don't
have to plug in an individual exhibit - and that kind of rules out a lot of
electronic signs...

Hey all,

Is anybody out there doing electronic graphic panels yet? I can see lots of
reasons to do them and not to do them. Easy to layer content or provide
bilingual information are a couple of examples. The challenges being cost
and what happens when the panel is down?

Just curious,

Mike
