Thank you everyone for the information. I will take that all in to
consideration as I work on reinventing the way we go about our water
treatment. Again I really appreciate all the input.

We have a water table exhibit, and we are not subject to any health
department regulations.

To ensure clean and safe watet, we keep a daily log which details
maintenance procedures such as once a week full clean and water drain, daily
testing of ph and chlorine, daily applications of chlorine and other
chemicals, filter changes, etc... When we are really busy, additional
maintenance procedures are done on an 'as needed' basis.

Our water table uses fresh tap water instead of recirculating. It does not
run constantly and is only on when the button is pressed for about thirty
seconds.

Does anyone have a Water Table type exhibit and if so, are you subject to
Health Dept. regulations for swimming pools and spas? What type of
procedures do you use to assure clean and safe water in the exhibit?
