Does anybody have recommendations for 'safe-ish' elements to use for a fireworks demo?  Safe for both staff and the audience members.  I'm mainly concerned about inhalation hazards.

We are planning to drop/sift the elements over a propane torch flame (not putting them inside of a Hydrogen balloon).  Any expertise is greatly appreciated.
