ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Iım working on developing a hands on interactive exhibit for the Oakland
Museum of California. We are looking to create Coral Reef critters that
would stick to a reef substrate and would like to use magnets as the method
of attachment. Iım interested in collecting information about what type of
magnets are ³safe² to use that donıt have negative effects on pace makers,
and any other issues that people might be aware of. Please email me if you
have information to share about safe magnet use in exhibits, or if you have
ever developed a similar exhibit.
Thank you
