Excellent idea, Alissa
That would reduce the need for paper, and perhaps get those still "addicted to the pulp" guided in the right direction.  Having said that, I'm one of those who - although I continue to try my darndest - still needs to print out some things, particularly complicated articles, papers or grants I'm to review, etc.  So, I can have some sympathy for those who still cling to printed materials.
Another issue is some schools/teachers have limited access to computers - demographics dictate a lot here.
I assume you're going for the same thing this year?  I would LOVE to see some eval on this - are you planning any evaluation?  I realize the difficulty is getting data on teachers that you didn't reach....comparison to previous years, perhaps?  The economic situations may or may not be stable enough to get reliable data here....
Hmmm.....

last year we sent out a bunch of postcards directing people to our website, where they could read the brochure. Postcards are, of course,  cheaper to print and to mail.

That said, I'm not sure how successful this was, but it's an option.

It occurs to me, particularly those who have funding sources
available, there may be a middle ground to consider?  What about
small, bulk, imprinted flash drives with a copy of the pdf brochure,
and whatever other electronic info the teacher might want or need
before coming?
