Yes, we do!  Try these, from various anthro dictionaries:

"The means by which human societies interact directly with and adapt to the environment. Technology can also refer to the steps taken, or manufacturing process used, to produce an artifact. The knowledge and methods necessary to produce useable or consumable artifacts or products of similar materials by similar methods (eg. Paleo-Indian bone technology)."

Stone tools are technology.  So are computers.  So is medicine.
