ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I have worked with a lot of museums and other institutions that have
such official statements. For a wealth of information including
research papers, curriculum, guides on how to talk to creationists,
and news on what is going on around the country, and even the world, I
would suggest the National Center for Science Education at http://ncseweb.org/
.

They can be a valuable resource for crafting such statements and
engaging the community in dialogue. Their materials is more meant for
public schools and formal educators, but it can be adapted with ease.

Good luck,
