Handbook for Small Science Centers, published by AltaMira Press is a
great resource for you...over 50 science center leaders in the field are
contributing authors who have shared their experiences and wisdom
covering all aspects of science center operations.
Google "Handbook for Small Science Centers" and read reviews as well as
see the Table of Contents. There is a chapter by Charlie Trautmann,
Ithaca Science Center, that includes an outline of how to write a
Business Plan. This book is available from Altamira, AAM (American
Association of Museums) and through Amazon (at a great discount! I was
told).
