depends on what you mean by 'how bad'.....we used to mix up 30  
gallons (think large garbage can)....seemed to do better if we let it  
sit for a couple of days - have no idea why....exhibits personnel  
hated it and everyone else loved it....

best wands we ever had were smooth stainless - hoops, squares,  
triangles....they were about 1/4 or 5/16" rod.....
