Subject: Design + Marketing Grant Opportunity

Dear grantees,

We thought you may be interested in this grant opportunity.

Firebelly Design is accepting applications for their annual Design + Marketing Grant for one year's worth of services.

We champion the importance of good design and believe its power should be available to every organization.
Not just the ones who can afford it.

Since 2004, Firebelly has awarded our annual Design + Marketing Grant to nonprofits in need. Providing recipients with an entire year's worth of creativity and strategy, Firebelly improves grantees from the inside out. Using principles of sustainability, we equip the organizations with skills that ensure continued growth long after the grant is over.

In other words, we don't just create strong identity systems, we also teach brand management. We don't just program websites with greater reach; we also develop content management systems for self-sufficiency. And we don't just design smarter promotional materials; we define a practical framework for long-term strategies and lasting campaigns.

The yearlong Grant gives us time to do all these things while involving the nonprofit in every step of our process. From brainstorms and mood boards to printing and site launch, we keep our grantees actively involved to help prepare them for future engagements with us or other designers. In the end, they feel confident communicating with vendors and designers, are aware of cost-saving production options and thoroughly understand the importance of setting aside a budget for design and marketing.

Our grantees are our best case studies. Their success and feedback provides us with significant metrics to measure the impact of good design for good reason. In the 5 years we've awarded our Grant, we've not only seen the organizations grow fiscally, but emotionally as well. There's just something about being part of a yearlong collaborative process that makes them stand up taller and smile bigger when they hand out their new business cards. It's an amazing thing to see.
