Paul -

You might consider a product called Fire Block - it comes in a 55gallon
drum or a spray bottle and when I was at Science City the Fire Marshall
would allow any fabric as long as we signed off on a date and time that
we had thoroughly sprayed the Fire Block on it.

It's made by a company called FireFreeze in NJ.

Apologies for cross-posting,

I am looking for options for child-friendly, durable, exhibit
upholstery material (to be used for bench cushions, etc.)
that ALSO is a "green" (eco-friendly) material.

A tall order, I know, but if anyone has recommendations based on
personal use (rather than "did you check greenexhibits.org?) I would
appreciate it.

Secondly, I am looking for sources of fire-retardant fabrics suitable
for hanging banners. Again suggestions based upon actual use would
be great. (I already have sources/contact for theatrical supply
companies, but I'd like to know what actual exhibit folks have used
that they've been happy with.)

Thanks!
