Joyce, if you find an existing exhibit, please let me know.

I talked to Mark VanOss at Seattle City light last year about their exhibit that connects salmon to energy use. He also sets up bicycles that light incandescent and fluorescent bulbs at various science fairs. He can tell you who built these units for Seattle. They might be interested in doing something similar that plays a DVD player.

Good luck,

Greetings, fellow museum folks. Does anyone know of a good energy exhibit
that examines wind/solar/water energy? I am looking in the neighborhood of
$10,000 - $15,000?

If not, does anyone know of a smaller exhibit that would be human powered
that would then turn on a DVD player? (We would like it to be either a
rowing machine, a bicycle, a treadmill, cross country skis).

If not in existence, who might be good to build us a good one here on the
west coast?
