ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Two new exhibits, EVA Experience and Moonwalk, opened last month in our
new Space Chase wing and require staffing.  Visitors are harnessed for a
simulated moonwalk (jump as high as you can on the moon) and a simulated
EVA as you pretend to work on the outside of a space station structure.
We are looking for information on how other science centers operate
similar exhibits when school groups are in the building.  The only
similar exhibits that have come to my mind are climbing walls--one I
remember from Louisville Science Center and one, a Mars climbing wall,
from the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville. 

The concerns are that only a certain number of people can go through the
activities each hour and we don't want students standing in line when
they should be headed to a reserved program, and also the intensive use
of staff to keep the exhibits open when school groups are here.  Any
guidance would be appreciated!
