The small, hollow, lightweight, shiny plastic balls used in huge quantities
in 'ball-pits' in play areas fly pretty well if your blower is reasonably
powerful. They don't fly as high as a beach ball, but the bonus is that you
can challenge people to see how many they can get airborne at the same time.
Two is often easy. More is sometimes impossible. They are less likely to be
taken away by visitors and they are much easier to keep clean and
new-looking than foam plastic.

Alternatively, you do know, don't you, that carefully chosen rimless plastic
kitchen mixing-bowls and jello-molds (jelly-moulds where I live!) hover like
UFOs...
