We get 2-3 traveling exhibits a year. As I mentioned, we have nowhere
near the $$$ or space to do the real blockbuster types like Body Worlds.

In addition to World We Create (saw the original in Louisville last
year, also excellent) my two faves were:

1) Giganotosaurus. The full-body cast of this dino skeleton just barely
fit in our exhibit hall. It was a pain to mix the wax/sand medium for
the dig pits (and stinky!) but I think it worked much better than any of
the other stuff we've tried.
2) Experiment Gallery. This one was from the Science Museum of
Minnesota; as good as the traveling version is, SMM's full sized version
is completely off the hook.

The other things we've had have, IMNSHO, ranged from "pretty good" to
"Eh" to "Blech!"

[And trying to answer the original poster's question about simple
machines exhibits... I haven't seen it in action, but I did note at last
year's conference dealer's room that the exhibit "Cool Moves" from
ScienCenter looked promising...]

Jonah,

We liked TWWC also. What are the 2 other travelers you liked, and how
many do you host each year?

Thanks,
