Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We discourage the use of balloons at our facility. One of the things we talk
about is the danger balloons pose to wildlife, especially sea turtles.
Animals will ingest the balloons and choke to death or have their digestive
tracks blocked and starve. So when at home, we recommend that visitors pop
their balloons and not release them into the air. You can read more about
