Hello,

I'm looking for an example of an explainer-led tour or program that
makes use of the experiential learning cycle. Kolb, McCarthy, Ott, and,
of course, Dewey are some of the theorists who developed this idea. Ott
described the sequential categories as 1)describing, 2)analyzing,
3)interpreting, 4)funding [providing more info], and 5)disclosing.

When working with new and returning docents in museums and galleries, I
use the learning cycle approach to show how a tour can begin to reach
the diversity of learners in any group in a very short period of time.
It's relatively easy to come up with activities for each of the
categories separately but I'm looking for a real-life example of a tour
or program that goes through the whole cycle. Does such a thing exist?

Your help much appreciated!
Cheers,
Chris
