Smart Theater Network has been using simulators for the last 15 years. But 
when we were approached by the national museum of science in Israel - we 
knew that we had to tailor made an attraction that is specially made for 
science centers and not to "take existing movies and existing programs and 
try to connect them to the exhibits". This understanding led to the 
development of the smart theater that is active for almost a year.



I will send you some TV reports about it. But generally speaking we knew 
that we have to do things deferent:

1. We reduced the technological investment to a minimum by simplifying it. 
(48! Simulation seats cost about 250k$)

2. We developed smart moving seats than can be install in existing 
auditoriums in order to prevent construction works - if it's not needed.

3. We developed a library of programs with science educators - in order to 
ensure 100% compellability to science centers.

4. We integrated interactivity with personal remote controls to ensure 
real-time hands on interactivity.

5. We collected and we use the most advance gadgets like smellovision and 3D 
in order to ensure maximal experience that visitors will pay for.



The smart theater is a great success. People are paying and the theater is 
fully booked very often.



As someone that knows this industry very well I will add one last thing.

TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT SALE TICKETS - ONLY A GOOD MOVIE/EXPERIENCE DOES.

Before investing a single dollar you must make sure that you have a variety 
of scientific programs that you can show in the future and that you can pay 
for it (we give the smart programs for free - because we share revenue).

The biggest mistake in the market is to share revenue for technology (that 
gets old after 3-5 years). This why you get the technology for a good 
price - but after one year - you have nothing to show!!! (Take IMAX for 
example - 90% of the science center's IMAX show the same movies because they 
can't pay for new movies or because there are no good movies out there...)
