Hi everyone,

I'm looking for research on the way visitors use computer and multimedia
exhibits in museums and science centres. Most research around is from
the late 90's and I think it's time for an update.

In the last 5 years, we've seen an explosion in the ways we can
communicate, eg pod casts, blogs, web cams, mobile phones with cameras
etc. Has this changed visitors' expectation of multimedia in museums?
Are they using older multimedia exhibits differently? Has the internet
influenced the way visitors interact with multimedia exhibits in
museums?

5 years ago, we were advised to avoid restart buttons and help buttons.
For example, visitors would expect that the help buttons would explain
how to use computers.

Thanks in advance,

Amy

BTW, anyone know how to track down Ben Gammon?
