We're opening an interactive marine science facility on Stearn's Wharf in Santa Barbara, CA in a few weeks. We're calling our volunteer and staff the Sea Crew.

In the Central area of Mexico we have a word for a close friend: cuate (koo-a-te). That is the way we call our teen volunteers. They are usually High school Seniors or University students doing their "Social service". We train them after a selection period.
