We are in the second year of our internship program with a local private
high school (The Alabama School of Math and Science). Last year we learned a
lot and this year we have refined the program to what I feel is finished
stage. A select number of students, 4 last year and 2 this year, come to the
science center 16 times in the semester. Each student works in our chemistry
lab and produces a themed lab unit to be used by our visitors. The students
receive school credit and recognition for their participation and we receive
some great lab programs. If you have any further questions feel free to
contact me.

Educating, ecouraging, and enlightening...

Hello all

I am looking for examples of school systems that give high school students
credit for volunteering and/or learning inquiry at Science Centers.
