     Total Eclipse of the Moon Wednesday Evening/
    65th Anniversary of Pittsburgh’s Buhl Planetarium
     Commemorated with Web Site Documenting
         Historic Transit of Venus

Pittsburgh, Oct. 26 – A deep and fairly dark total
eclipse of the Moon will occur Wednesday evening,
which can be seen by people throughout most of the
Western Hemisphere,as well as the western sections of
Europe and Africa, weather-permitting. The eclipse
will be visible from 8:05 p.m. Eastern Daylight Saving
Time, Wednesday, through 2:03 a.m. Thursday morning;
the total portion of the eclipse will be from 10:23 to
11:45 p.m.
