Hello All,

Just a report from the field. I and my colleges here in Tucson have just return from a short stint in New Mexico helping ˇExplora!, Albuquerque's new science and children's museum open it's doors in a brand new facility. This is a wonderful new place and I encourage you all to check it out. Paul Tater and his crew have done a fantastic job in creating what I would call a grand experiment in visitor experiences. Most new places that I have
visited in recent years leave, not much, but most, to be desired. Not this place. It continues to surprise and enchant at every turn - and there are many. Paul brings a well developed philosophy to everything that is done at ˇExplora! There is nothing haphazard here. This place "gets it." If there is anyone out there who is developing a new institution, this place should be a required visit for your board.

I am so happy to finally visit a new science center/ children's museum that I can whole heartily recommend. Bravo to Paul and his entire crew. Very well done!

Joe Ruggiero
