ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We are going live in November with on-line Education resources (pre-post
visit material, etc.) for educators and wanted to know if anyone had any
experience promoting on-line materials like this. What did you do? What
did you do that you think worked well? And/or how would you do it
differently now that you have experience?

We have an email "newsletter" with approx 700 teachers on it and we will of
course send info to them. But I was wondering the next step. Should we do
large postcard mailing??? or???? ( I find mailings sometimes just don't
seem to be effective.) I thought teachers who have used the materials might
be able to make presentations in their own schools, etc. But that reaches
only a very local population and is very grassroots.

We would welcome any suggestions or ideas.

Thanks.

Maria
