I had a similar case recently which turned out to be laryngeomalasia (not sure of the spelling here) which is what I suspected and kept recommending the mom see an ent. this particular baby had stridor-like sounds and also a high resp rate. the peds advised her to go at 2 mos but she had to go sooner like 2 wks. so i would keep recommending the referral. whenever i feel the baby is just not quite right or if the mom feels this way, they need to be checked further. the baby transferred milk well and was gaining but was never settled and cried alot.
