Another study with this focus is included in the newest issue of
Breastfeeding Abstracts by LLLI.  It took this study a little farther and
eliminated the use of tea/tea bags are they were not effective.   It
compared Lansinoh, mother's milk rubbed on the nipples, warm water
compresses and just education re positioning, etc  postpartum--and, by
golly, the warm water won!  ("A Comparison of Topical Agents to Relieve
Nipple Pain and Enhance Breastfeeding" by LC Pugh, BL Buchko, BA Bishop
et all in _Birth_ 1996; 23: 88-93)
