Jane, Perhaps this is Linden Flower tea, something a woman from Puerto Rico
told me about a few years ago. Her mother had suggested it to her as a
calming, relaxing tea and would send it to her from PR. She said it induced
sleepiness in adults within a short time after consuming a cup of the tea.
The Linden tree flowers are called Tilia platyphylllos, Tilia, or Lime
Flowers. It resembles jasmine tea in its taste. She finally found a company
in the US that sells it in bulk. I'll privately email you the name of a
company I know of that sells it to health food stores in our area; perhaps you
could contact the company for more details. Sorry, I have no knowledge of its
use with babies.
