I don't know, but it also probably very distasteful. As for whether Diflucan is preferred over the older antifungals, I would say yes (when compared to the other triazole antifungals), primarily because of its better safety profile, and the fact that it is actually cleared for pediatric use, and has a safety profile down to one day of age. For these reasons alone, it should be preferred over most other antifungals, with exception of Mycostatin(nystatin) which has a long and safe record in pediatrics, but rather poor efficacy. Tom Hale
