from the milk bank guidelines:

        1.   "pooled milk sahll be aliquoted inter sterile containers of 120
ml of equivalent standard size. origional container may be used as long as
they have been maintained under sterile conditions.

        2. containers shall be filled with not more than 105 ml of milk,
leaving at tleat 20% void-volume in the container.

        3. all contianer shall be capped sufficiently tightly to prevent
contaimination of milk during heat treatment.

        4. aloquiots of mill shall be processed nbu completely submerging the
containers in a well-agitaited or shaking water bath preheated to 56-58 C

         ........the heat treatment shall continue for 30 minutes.

         .......following heat processing, the milk is to be cooled nu
submersion in an ice slurry.

     my copy is from January 1991 but I am not aware of significant changes
