I can report having hot flushes while breastfeeding, but only during the
very early postpartum period.  These disappeared after about 2 weeks.

I have also had an acquaintance inquiring about the causes of her nausea.
She experiences nausea during MER if her child is not actually latched on
(for example if she hears a baby cry or something else triggers MER).  When
actually breastfeeding, the nausea seems to be mitigated.  We have
speculated that the nausea is caused by some hormonal release, and that
prolactin during breastfeeding helps to prevent the nausea.

I'd be interested in hearing more on this topic, too.
