Dear Lee:

I have no problem with your discussing your opinion of your scale.  You can post about the evils of scales all you want I may agree with some if not many of your reasons.   Bear in mind, however, if you claim that scales are inaccurate, I may post all the details of the 34 studies I've read on accuracy and precision and bore you and everyone else to death or until the listmothers get fed up with me!! Machines can be designed to be accurate, but humans must determine whether or not their existence or their use is beneficial. 

And just so no one misunderstands -- this is meant as a light tease.
