Today we lost 140 Comcast and Roadrunner subscribers with a bunch more waiting in the wings. If all of those subscribers resubscribe without addressing it with their ISP, they will be dumped again in 5 days if the errors continue. A vast number of the dropped subscribers are writing to the listmothers asking to be put back on the list and to intervene on their behalf with their ISP. We are not able to contact the ISPs that are having problems with Lactnet. The problem is not originating with Lactnet. Lactnet is not blocking your ISP, your ISP is blocking Lactnet. If you received an error message saying you were dropped from Lactnet due to errors, forward that message to your ISP. If you were dropped, feel free to subscribe again following the directions on the bottom of every Lactnet post. I have already responded to half a dozen requests already today and need to attend to my paid job for a while! Hopefully it will get worked out soon once Comcast gets an email from all 140 of the dropped subscribers!
