I saw too many wet tubing here in Houston and most of the tubing I saw
had not been used in 12-48 hours but still were wet inside. Every single
collection kit I saw had wet tubing -- from condensation to droplets.
Big huge problem as that collection kit is not a closed system so the
mold or bacteria from the tubing can go down into the milk.

Why is it that no one talks about this issue of wet tubing?

Most of my WIC clients liked another pump better than the hospital's
Symphony but then maybe no one showed them how to use it correctly or
gave them big enough flanges. Medela flanges are too small for most
women, by their own research.
