I agree with the recent poster who assessed that the hormones in bcp and
relatively small amts - usually - ingested by older toddlers or preschoolers
would not be causing a "marked" change in toddler behavior. I have also
nursed til 5-6 yrs old, and had a child reluctant to wean, but I would
consider a "marked" change in behavior to be quite serious. And the original
poster did emphasize it was a marked change. Maybe there is something going
on in the family - marital stress? return to work? a problem with a sibling?
Worst case scenario, it could be brain tumor; I would have the child checked
out pronto.
