Hi All,

I am trying to find the original reference for the hierarchy of
breastfeeding substitutes- i.e, First and foremost, baby should be fed at
mother's breast; if that is not possible, then baby should receive his
mother's expressed milk in another form; third would be milk from a donor;
and last would be formula. Does this come from the WHO?

Thanks,
Dianne Oliver, IBCLC
