"Nikki Lee" <[log in to unmask]> # That is another solution: put recliners in rooms for family members to stay. # Oh wow... in the maternity ward of our local hospital the rooms have a small "change station" and three beds, and if/when each mom brings in her baby's tiny plactic cot, there isn't any room left between the beds and the cots, they are side by side. Actually mothers are encouraged to receive visitors at the hallway, not in the rooms. Most other hospitals have at least a few "family rooms" (where dad (and siblings) may stay overnight), but our local hospital has none <sigh>.
