We use an organic soy toddler formula for our daughter who is 3 and still partially tube fed. She also receives donor breastmilk. We can't afford to buy all donor milk and she won't drink anything else. So I guess I am thankful that this option exists. Our doctor and a nutritionist were pushing HARD for these horrible non organic formulas. We couldn't bare to put those ingredients in her. Not many pureed foods fit in the feeding tube. Our daughter had to have something else in her diet so this organic formula was the best option. Still, I have to admit I feel embarrassed everytime I buy it from the health food store. I want to explain my situation to people in the checkout line for fear that they are thinking exactly what I am reading in these posts.
