I worked with a woman years ago who had similar symptoms,(given permission to post years ago) while nursing both of her children. She also felt the desire to "jump up, throw the baby, and run out of the house screaming" during ejection reflex. Her doctor dismissed this completely, but I refered her to a mental health professional, who seemed to think (as did many on Lactnet) that it was an unusual side effect of oxytocin release. The symptoms seemed to peak during ejection, but she felt jumpy during the entire nursing. She said it had happened with the first baby, and had gradually decreased as the baby got older. WIth the second child, the symptoms were overwelming. She saw the mental health specialist and was placed on an SSRI antidepressant, she did quite well, the medication was compatable, and her symptoms disappeared quickly. She continued to nurse the child into toddlerhood. ALthough she denied any PPD symptoms at the time of symptoms, she did say, in retrospect, she seemed to have suffered anxiety type PPD, but didn't realize it until she was in treatment.
