I'm sorry I don't know who the OP was- but, my first book on the controversies of formula feeding was "the Politics of Breastfeeding" by Gabrielle Palmer. I had no idea there was controversy until then- even though I had been raised in a bottle feeding culture and was "converted" to breastfeeding by a University endocrinology course taught by Sue Carter Porges.
