There is also an other angle to this situation. All of us have done consultations where the information and treatment presented to the client was something she didn't want to believe and didn't want to even try. I have seen these clients often saying that "the LC (or LLL leader) couldn't help me." In actuality, the treatment or assesment of the problem was something the mother didn't want to face or deal with. We have all seen situations where there was an AWFUL LC consult, poor or no info given, or downright misinformation given out, but we need to keep in mind that in many other cases it may be more a case of the client not wanting to comply or not liking the outcome of the consultation, and then blaming the LC for a solution which will take "too much" effort from the client.
