"Not so long as you may believe 'til you find yourself there." When I first found out I was going to be a grandma I looked in the mirror and thought "how did my life go by so fast that I'm now going to be someone's grandmother?" Because I didn't want to be an overbearing Mom, I gently asked my daughter if she was planning to BF. She looked at me like I was crazy and said "What's the matter with you?! ? Of course I'm going to -- I've been looking forward to it!" This from someone who defended Juliet's right to nurse till she was three years old when her class discussed Romeo & Juliet in high school. On one Halloween, she combined a good fairy costume with my labcoat, various BF buttons, a pump in the pocket, etc. to go to a party as the lactation fairy. She was big hit with the guys. Being a grandmother is SO much fun, with very little downside. Only bad thing is that I'm not close by. Hello to all my friends in Michigan and around the country. Best Wishes.
