This is nothing new, I might add. The AAP has a long standing relationship
with formula money. It is a business relationship that is founded in
finances, not ethics. On the AAP website, they say they are committed to
the health of all children. That is good rhetoric, but is not the case in
actuality.

This is a power game, a playing--with-the-big-boys situation, and lowly
lactation consultants are going to be the annoying and easy-to-swat
mosquitoes of life. Our buzz is not going to stop the "bite."

And for another insect image ( can't help it)....those who lie down with
dogs ultimately get up with fleas.

It's a harsh world and a sickening reality, but money drives this bus, not
anyone's ethics or their desire to help mothers and babies be healthier
through breastfeeding. The fact is that they simply

DO NOT CARE.
