I am fluent in Japanese, and if you found it helpful, am at your service via
email or phone.  I was raised in Japan, and if they are typical of the
culture, will understand written English language better than spoken.  I
would recommend backing up the information you are giving them in written
form.  It should help the communication tremendously.
