"Circle of influence?" (I just hope my kids are in that circle! ) I think
that most women who donate milk directly to other mothers, who are in turn
accepting or requesting it directly, are making a conscious decision. This
has certainly been my experience. I have also suggested donating expressed
milk or a breast among sisters who have happily shared. But strangers? I do
think there is cause for caution here. But, of course, there is cause for
outright alarm when corporations get their arrogant, deceptive "scientists"
and marketing people into the mix.
